The Endless Walk, Jodie Mihara
There they stood without direction
Wondering where this life could take them
Living is a journey, and the world is endless
Maybe things don’t seem so hopeless
The crunch of a leaf, the smell of a breeze
A gentle whisper from between the trees
Plants bloom in peculiar places
A sign of life to many strange faces
From a tiny gap between the bricks
Blooms a flower, planting tricks
Signs of life where it doesn’t belong
Persevering, life is strong!
So, there they stood wondering “where?”
And life replied with a nondirectional, “there!”
